Substance Abuse and Mental Health in the Trades: Risk Factors, Symptoms and Evidence-Based Treatment

This program will discuss some of the challenges that are faced by those working in the trades regarding substance use and mental health issues. What are some of the risk factors, and what are some strategies that can be implemented to reduce and manage those risks, what are signs and symptoms to watch for, what are some of the common barriers or objections that may come up, and what can be done when it is identified or confirmed that someone is in need of help. Will then provide information on evidence-based substance use treatment.
