Bluebeam: Product Overview

March 6 @ 9:00 am - March 8 @ 4:00 pm

If you are self-taught, you might not be aware of some of the features of this powerful software program.  This class will demonstrate some of the best basic features.

 Topics will include:

  1. Tool sets.  Save and reuse markups
  2. Measuring with Dynamic Fill.  This method finds all the curves and angles of your measured area automatically, resulting in a more exact measurement.
  3. Markup List.  Each time you place a markup on a drawing a hyperlink is stored in this list.  The result is the ability to find, export, group markups for counting, create calculations for estimating and create pdf reports.  The markup list allows you to manage your drawings
  4. Thumbnails-Create Page Labels using the sheet number and title.  If you export pages into their own files, they will use these labels as filenames.
  5. Visual Search is handy if you need to count items in your drawing.
  6. Stapler allows you to merge documents from different applications, and then apply one set of page numbers.
  7. Studio and Project allow you to manage the drawings in a project.  The documents are stored in the Bluebeam cloud.  In Studio multiple people can simultaneously do markups.  Project is similar to the file sharing features of SharePoint. REGISTER HERE
